About this opportunity
This Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs was to install an additional emergency generator at the Spinal Cord Injury Unit of the Memphis VA Medical Center within 150 calendar days for an estimated cost of $489,532. Due to the critical nature of the facility and insufficient time for full and open competition under an unusual and compelling urgency, the sole source award was justified and made to AAECON General Contracting LLC, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, on August 11, 2020 for $561,959 based on the contractor's ability to complete the work within the required timeframe and its experience with over 100 similar projects.
