This is a non-personal services contract to provide window washing in Building 570 on Kirtland AFB. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. 

5.1          Basic Services:  The Contractor shall clean all existing storefront and office (interior and exterior) windows for Building 570. Scaffolding will be required in atrium and a boom lift is required at exterior of building to reach full height of windows.  Access to office space must be coordinated through AFRL/RVOI construction manager.

5.2          The Contractor shall repair and (if necessary) replace with like materials the existing motorized blinds on the atrium windows as they are currently not in working order. 

5.3          The contractor shall verify all dimensions in field prior to starting work or ordering pre-fabricated equipment and materials, as well as verify all quantities, sizes, and conditions of area to be repaired. The Contractor shall notify AFRL/RVOI immediately of any discrepancies prior to commencing work.

5.4          The contractor shall protect all existing flooring, finishes and furnishings throughout the duration of the contract. 

5.5          The contractor shall ensure that site is safe and that area underneath the scaffolding or boom lift is taped off to prevent any foot traffic.

5.6           Any existing conditions to remain that are damaged during construction shall be repaired to match new construction, at no additional cost to the government.

 

5.7          The contractor is responsible for locating all existing utility lines and determining most cost effective connection solution for new work, and also for compliance to current building codes, ADA/ABA accessibility guidelines, UFC'S, and Air Force operating instructions applicable to this project.

It is the contractor’s responsibility for filing and securing all permits, approvals, etc. for all trades.

5.8          All materials and refuse generated through the demolition required by this contract shall be the responsibility of the contractor and shall be disposed of IAW all local, state, and federal regulations, by the contractor off base, at the contractor’s expense.

5.9          The contractor shall prepare an Accident Prevention Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and Lift Plan for USACE representative for review and approval.  Access to the facility will need to be coordinated through the USACE representative and the AFRL/RVOI construction manager.
