Added: Mar 31, 2017 2:33 pm The solicitation and any resultant contract will be a stewardship project in accordance with Section 323 of Public Law 108-7 (16 U.S.C. 2104 Note, as revised February 28, 2003 to reflect sec. 323 of J.J. Res 2 as enrolled), the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution , 2003, amending Public Law 105-277, sec 347.

The Wimpcat Stewardship Project includes chipping and removal of biomass 2,262.7 CCF of non- sawtimber. Removing approximately 3,912 CCF of Timber and other products, perform road maintenance, road reconstruction and road obliteration.



This project is not set aside for small business. It is a full and open competition.
The NAICS code for this project is 113310. The small business size standard is no greater than 500 employees. The performance period is from date of award thru Jun 30, 2020.

The Wimpcat Stewardship is located approximately 16 miles northeast of Taylorsville and 2 miles north of Antelope Lake recreation area in Plumas County, CA within the Mt Hough Ranger District, Plumas National Forest. The project area encompasses all portions of T27N, R12E, Sec 1,2,3,11 and 12, MDBM.


The Government's estimate for construction is: 
between $25,000 to $100,000.

The solicitation package will be uploaded when ready, approximately 13 April 2017. The date of award is expected to be within 10 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments.
