Notice text

This requirement is for fish hatchery facility operation and maintenance services in support of the Untied State Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District Hatchery Program, which provides mitigation for USACE owned and operated hydropower and flood reduction projects.

The specific work will be performed at four Willamette Valley hatcheries: (1) Marion Forks, located near Marion Forks, Oregon; (2) South Santiam, located in Sweet Home, Oregon; (3) McKenzie, located near Leaburg, Oregon; and (4) Willamette, located in Oakridge, Oregon. Services include providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items necessary to operate the above-mentioned hatcheries to produce and release fish in support of USACE mitigation objectives in the Willamette Valley Basin. The USACE NWP provides mitigation for Willamette Valley Project Dams in the form of artificial propagation of salmonids at the four above described hatcheries within the Willamette River Basin.
