The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of vocational programs: electrical, plumbing, and diesel for inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) EL Reno, Oklahoma.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611519 (Size Standard: $15,000,000). This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted.
The Government contemplates awarding of a contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The anticipated Effective Date of Award (EDOA) is June 1, 2019. The resulting contract will include a base year from the EDOA through September 30, 2019 with four (4) possible 12-month option periods for renewal which will be October 1st through September 30th of each year at the discretion of the Government. There is a possible 6 month extension period in accordance to FAR 52.217-8 (Option to Extend Services). There is an estimated quantity of 1,176 sessions for the base year and 5,187 sessions per option year and 2,646 sessions for the 6 month extension. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations.
The solicitation will be made available on or about January 17, 2019 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
