About this opportunity
This Special Notice announces the Department of Homeland Security's intent to directly award a sole source contract to JDL Digital, Inc., doing business as Airship, for continuity of support and equipment for the Video Evidence Collection and Distribution System. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency published the Notice.
The Notice aims to solicit from a single source, Airship, in order to ensure continuity of existing VECADS services and equipment. As the incumbent contractor, Airship is deemed the only reasonably available source based on its capabilities. The contracting officer will directly award the contract to Airship under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13 simplified acquisition procedures. Interested parties have until March 31, 2020 to submit any questions to the specified contract specialist by email or phone. Non-eligibility is at the discretion of the government contracting officer. The direct award would provide uninterrupted VECADS support and use of related equipment to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
