About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, on behalf of the U.S. Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base, is conducting market research to identify sources for spare vaneaxial fan procurement (Part Number 765327-3-2, NSN 4140-01-143-3520HS) for B-1B aircraft, with a response deadline of August 7, 2026. This is a sources sought synopsis, not a solicitation; no contract award will result from this market research effort.

The government seeks new manufacture of approximately 9 units and will determine at contract award whether to set aside this requirement for small business or break it out by airframe. Place of performance is Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma 73145. Potential sources must furnish all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for new manufacture, including component procurement, manufacturing, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, long-lead-time parts procurement, and mitigation of diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, potentially including nonrecurring engineering costs to achieve approved-source status.

The requirement falls under Federal Stock Class 4140 (NAICS 336413, size standard 1,500 employees). The government is open to all business types: large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) firms, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone business, and women-owned small business. Unit prices will be established at contract award. Interested sources must select "Add Me to Interested Vendors" at the SAM.gov posting; responses go to 423scms.workflow@us.af.mil.
