This procurement is designated for acquisition from a specified source only, as suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing/repair knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from alternative sources or qualification testing of substitute parts. The contract action will be negotiated with a single source under applicable authority. Interested parties should review Military and Federal Specifications, Standards, Qualified Products Lists (QPLs), and related documentation available through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) or ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/. This procurement is not designated as a set-aside contract. The contract specifies delivery on an FOB Origin basis for the 23 units of the shutoff valve. While no specific award value or incumbent contractor information is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, the single-source procurement requirement indicates that the Government has already identified the qualified source for this item based on engineering and technical specifications. No evaluation criteria regarding price, past performance, or technical factors are outlined in this pre-solicitation notice, as the focus remains on notifying the market of the Government's intent to procure these specialized components from a designated source.
