About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is soliciting quotations for 27 units of a Valve Assembly (NSN: 4820-01-628-8177), specifically an AMOT intake air shut-off valve for the SSDG, manufactured by AMOT Controls Corporation (PN: 4261D02A072). This combined synopsis/solicitation is being conducted as a simplified acquisition for a commercial item under FAR Subpart 12.6, with quotations rather than formal written solicitations being requested. The requirement emphasizes strict compliance with packaging, packing, marking, and bar-coding standards, including individual packaging per MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10, placement in ASTM-D5118 double-wall fiberboard boxes, and ISO/IEC-16388-2007 Code 39 bar-coded marking per MIL-STD-129R; the solicitation explicitly states that standard commercial packaging is unacceptable and non-compliance will result in rejection and return of items. Award will be made on an all-or-none basis to the responsible offeror whose conforming offer is most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation deadline for quotations is January 26, 2026, nine days from the posting date of January 17, 2026.

This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside with a NAICS code of 332911 (Industrial Valve Manufacturing) and a business size standard of 750 employees. No incumbent contractor or previous award information is referenced in the solicitation notice. The total quantity required is 27 each, though no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the provided documentation. Delivery is required on an F.O.B. Destination basis to the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center located at 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21126, with delivery to the Receiving Room in Building 88. The specific award value will depend on the quoted unit price multiplied by the quantity of 27 units, and the award will be processed through simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106.
