About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State, through its Embassy in Amman, Jordan, is soliciting quotations for the supply, installation, and training of carpentry tools and machines under RFQ 19J01025Q0031. The procurement encompasses 23 line items of specialized woodworking equipment including edge banders, vertical spindle moulders, circular saws, welding machines, clamps, electric planers, angle grinders, and other professional carpentry tools. Equipment must be manufactured to American or European standards and meet high requirements for safety, durability, and performance. The government intends to award the contract to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quotation. Written questions must be submitted by August 24, 2025, at 4:30 PM Amman time (GMT+3), and final quotations are due September 7, 2025, at the same time.
This procurement is unrestricted with no set-aside designation and does not identify any incumbent contractors. While specific contract values are not disclosed in the solicitation notice, pricing must be quoted in Jordanian Dinars and the procurement includes multiple units across 23 different equipment categories. The selected contractor must deliver all equipment within 30 days of contract award and provide a one-year warranty along with installation services and one training session for embassy staff. Performance will take place at the American Embassy in Amman, Jordan, where the contractor will install the equipment and conduct the required training. The embassy holds a tax exemption certificate for this procurement, and all submissions must be made electronically with specific formatting requirements and file size limitations of 30MB per email.
