About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is soliciting proposals for the procurement of F-110 Transducers, Motional (NSN: 6695-01-363-3031PR, Part Number: 1369M58P02), which are Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) components with moveable cores attached to nozzle actuation rings that generate electrical output signals proportional to actuator position. The stainless steel alloy transducers must meet qualification requirements at the time of award per FAR Clauses 52.209-1 or 52.209-2, and all responsible sources are eligible to submit proposals. The solicitation will use electronic procedures exclusively, with only written or faxed requests accepted directly from requestors. Questions regarding the procurement should be directed to Al Dacalio at (405) 739-8448 or alson.dacalio@us.af.mil. The Request for Proposal is estimated to be issued on March 17, 2026, with a closing date of April 17, 2026, providing interested parties with one month to prepare and submit their responses.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and is open to all qualified sources, with GE identified as a qualified source. The government is procuring 10 units of the transducer, falling under NAICS Category 336412 (Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing) and PSC Category 6695 (Combination and Miscellaneous Instruments). The acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements, and the government has determined that Commercial Item policies under FAR Part 12 do not apply to this procurement. An Ombudsman is available at (405) 734-8241 to address any concerns or issues raised by offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase. While no specific award value is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the relatively small quantity and specialized nature of this aircraft engine component suggest a limited-value procurement.
