Synopsis Response Date 22 December 2017
Anticipated Solicitation Issue Date 27 DEC 2017 - Anticipated Solicitation Closing Date 16 FEB 2018 - Time 2:00 PM EST
The Government has a requirement for AN/ALQ-99(V) Extended Low-Band Radomes manufactured by CPI Radant Technologies Division, Inc. It is anticipated this action will result in a five year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) contract for radomes required for installation and check out during AN/ALQ-99(V) retrofits on US Navy ships and land-based aircraft. The procurement will be for a minimum quantity of twenty five (25) and a maximum quantity of sixty five (65) over the five year ordering period. FOB destination delivery will be 12 months after receipt of order at NSWC Crane, Crane, IN 47522-5001. This effort will be Sole Sourced to CPI Radant Technologies Division, 255 Hudson Road, Stow, MA. 01775-1446 in accordance with the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The Government does not possess a complete technical data package to compete this action. A competitive procurement approach would require extensive cost duplication for non-recurring engineering and product validation and an unacceptable delay in schedule to meet requirement needs. The effort will not be set aside for small business concerns.
The solicitation will not be made available on Fed Biz Opps and no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.. Responsible sources may submit inquiries or a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency by 22 December 2017. Government point of contact is Mr. David Stuffle, Code 0242, telephone 812-854-5550, or e-mail david.stuffle@navy.mil (preferred). Complete mailing address is: NSWC Crane Division; ATTN: David Stuffle; Code 0242, Bldg 121; 300 Highway 361; Crane, IN 47522-5001.
