About this opportunity
This notice provides details for the SkyTower I System Build, Test, and Integration procurement by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). NAVAIR intends to negotiate a modification to an existing contract with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems to procure integration of the Marine Air Ground Task Force Agile Network Gateway Link hardware into General Atomics' proprietary SkyTower I payload pods for up to three MQ-9A Reaper unmanned aircraft. The contract will include SkyTower I Pods, installation kits, product support material, and unmanned aircraft modifications. As the sole designer of the SkyTower I Pods, General Atomics is considered the only contractor that can meet the requirements on a timely and cost effective basis. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by November 8, 2021, but a competitive procurement is not anticipated.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The work involves unmanned aircraft and related systems under NAICS code 336411 and PSC codes C, C171, and C399. The notice specifies intent to modify an existing contract with General Atomics, the current and potentially sole-source provider. No award values or timelines for services are included, but the contract is for integration and equipment to support operation of up to three MQ-9A Reaper unmanned aircraft systems.
