Notice text
This contract is to provide routine and recurring maintenance of forest and administrative use roads managed by the Central Coast and Hebo Ranger Districts, Siuslaw National Forest (Tillamook, Yamhill, Lincoln, Benton, Lane, Douglas and Coos Counties, Oregon). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and terms of the contract. Bituminous surface patching and asphalt crack sealing is not included.
Maintenance work consists of a variety of road repair activities including but not limited to the following: blading, pavement cleaning, watering, compaction, ditch maintenance, drainage structure maintenance, roadway drainage maintenance, spot surfacing, removal and disposal of materials, roadside brushing, logging out, rock, earth barrier and gate maintenance, and sign maintenance.
This work was originally solicited and awarded to three contractors in 2014. Due to the passing of one of the contractors in 2016, we are resoliciting this procurement to supplement the two awards still in place for Road Maintenance work on the Siuslaw National Forest. Therefore, the Government intends to award a firm-fixed price Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the option to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional years (through December 31, 2019). The Government may award up to two supplemental parent contracts. Contractors may be required to perform work items simultaneously on both Ranger Districts if awarded contracts on both.
The solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about February 7, 2017, with responses due by COB on March 7, 2017. Estimated start work date is April 2017.
Note: prospective awardees MUST be registered, and active, in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a Federal Government Contract. If you are not registered, please register at the following site: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/
