For the evaluation, you are asking for proof of window washing service technicians' qualifications ...vendors must be able to respond within 2 hours of contract from the VA COR for emergency service?
Answer: References from previous window washing jobs may be checked. This will be a twice-yearly maintenance contract and will not require service calls or extra visits.
What do you deem as "proof of window washing qualifications"?
Answer: Possible reference checks.
When reading over the statement of work, there was no mention that we need to be able to respond within 2 hours of contact from the VA for emergency service. The statement of work stated that we need to be available 2 times per year for window cleaning. So, should we now plan on being sort of "on-call" for VA for emergencies? What type of emergencies do you foresee?
Answer: The Statement of work is correct. This will be a twice-yearly maintenance contract and will not require service calls or extra visits.
It is twice a year scheduled maintenance?
Answer: Yes, twice a year.
I noticed there were some windows especially at the hospital that are not accessible from the ground level. Will you allow a lift onsite to manage windows that are not accessible?Â
Answer: We will allow lifts, but they are not supplied by the facility.
I am requesting incumbent pricing.
Answer: There is no incumbent pricing at this point.
When was the last cleaning done?
Answer: We don t know. It has been more than 10 years, but we really have no idea.
Can we use lifts?
Answer: You can use your own lifts.
Can you please update the price schedule with the all the building to be included in the bid.
Answer: Yes
Can water fed poles be use?
Answer: Yes
Can we use boom lift in the property for building with more than 2 stories?
Answer: You can use your own lifts.
Will the screen be removed before the work start (if there is any) if not are we obligated to remove them?
Answer: I can t think of a situation where this applies but in the off chance this situation is ran in
Into, it would be the contractor s responsibility.
Update #3 ·
Has there been a previous bid for Notice ID 36C24922Q0305 and if so, may you please post or provide me with the previous bid?
Answer: This is a new requirement.
Will there be a sign-in sheet?
Answer: Yes
How many people from my team can attend?Â
Answer: We do not have a set number.
What do we need to bring to the site visit (ID, mask, driver's license etc.)?
Answer: Please have a minimum of a DL or State Issued ID and a mask. You may not need the ID but bring one just in case.
We understand that the Site Visit is going to be on Wednesday, April 27th at 10:00 am, is it Mandatory?
Answer: While it is not required to attend the site visit, it is strongly encouraged to come to the site visit so that vendors can get a good understanding of how many windows that will need to be cleaned.
Is the requirements for Window Cleaning Exterior only?
Answer: Yes.
What is the TDS of the facility water source?
Answer: This information is not readily available.
What are the Health Requirements of this facility for contractors (TB skin test, recent flu, recent COVID, etc.)?Â
Answer: The only currently requirements that Mt. Home facility has is covid screening and mask wearing.
