Update #4 ·

Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a contract to General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products of Marion, VA, to provide a quantity of 31 Army Single Family (ASF) ISO Shelters with wall panel ship sets, which are necessary to support weapon repair missions for the Armament Repair Shop Set (ARSS) program.
This follow-on contract will mitigate the high probability of the program experiencing a major break in production, which would result in the ARSS program failing to meet the required fielding of systems. This contract shall fulfil the immediate need for ARSS shelters until a new, competitive contract can be awarded.
