About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is soliciting a request for quote (RFQ) for a 100 MB dedicated telecommunications service within Europe, specifically replacing a previous contract numbered HC102119PA056. This procurement is categorized under the Wired Telecommunications Carriers NAICS code 517111 and seeks a commercial telecommunications provider to establish a specific network service. The solicitation is structured as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. Interested vendors must be registered with the appropriate NAICS code and submit their request with a UEI or CAGE code for verification. The agency will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate submitted quotes, with specific evaluation criteria detailed in the attached RFQ document. Quotes are due by April 25, 2025, and providers must comply with specific commercial item terms and conditions referenced in the solicitation.
This procurement does not have a small business set-aside and will require telecommunications providers to submit pricing through monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and potential tier pricing for additional service months. Providers must adhere to specific FAR clauses including 52.212-1, 52.212-3 (Alternate I), 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the contract appears focused on establishing a dedicated 100 MB service within the European theater. The performance location will be within Europe, with the service designed to replace an existing telecommunications infrastructure contract. Potential vendors must carefully review the attached RFQ for complete details on service specifications, acceptance criteria, and compliance requirements. The solicitation emphasizes strict adherence to technical and contractual standards typical of Department of Defense telecommunications procurements.
