The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for the repair and restoration of the brick chimney on the roof of a residence building located in the Brussels Capital Region, Belgium. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

Scope of Work*:

  • Paint removal, brick masonry repairs, and repainting of all four sides of the chimney.
  • Removal of the old exhaust system and repair of the chimney/roof area where the old exhaust system was in place.
  • Use of high-quality, first-class materials and fittings.

Site visit: A site visit is organised for this RFP and scheduled for March 4th 2025. Interested offeros must submit the registration form before noon on March 3rd 2025. 

Questions: All questions must be submited by email to BrusselsBids@state.gov no later than close of business on March 4th ,2025.. 


Offer Instructions: Complete the OFFER portion of the Standard Form 1442, including all blank spaces highlighted in yellow, and have the form signed by an authorized representative of your company, or the proposal may be considered unacceptable and may be rejected. Registration Requirements: All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database (https://www.sam.gov) prior to submitting an offer, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submission of quotations/proposals.

Electronic Submission/Responses: Your quotation must be submitted electronically to BrusselsBids@state.gov. It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed the 2MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 2MB each.
