RFP issue date revised to on or about 03/13/2014, site visit date revised to on or about 03/25/2014, RFP due date revised to on or about 04/15/2014.
The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center, La Crosse, Wisconsin has a requirement for roof replacement for several sections of the facility and other facility improvements. Specifically, the base project involves replacing the roof and insulation, removal of abandoned cooling towers and incinerator stack, replacement of a chiller, replacement of failed window glass, and replacement of failed dock doors. Optional items will include replacement of fume hoods. The magnitude of the base project is between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000. Proposals are being requested under Request for Proposals G14PS00183, which will be issued at fedbizopps.gov on or about 02/28/14. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A statement of work, specifications, drawings, and site visit information are not available for release at this time. Proposals will be due on or about 04/03/14 (exact date/time to be provided in the solicitation). The anticipated award will be firm fixed price, issued on or about 05/07/14. The NAICS code is 238160 with a small business size standard of $14.0 mil. This solicitation will be set aside for small business.
