This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation notice is for repair parts of active and legacy Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment for the Director, United States Army, Communications Security Logistics Activity (USACSLA). USACSLA directs the operations of the Armys COMSEC Wholesale Logistics Systems, Electronic Key Management Systems and Information Systems Security. The Army is the designated lead service organization for COMSEC equipment and their components. Therefore, the Army is responsible for sustainment support to the (DoD) and (FMS) customers. The contract resulting from the solicitation will be the tool for replenishing Army inventory and support the repair of the Major End Items. There are 45 repair parts being sought to support two COMSEC equipment families:

2. Secure Voice Family composed of: 1) AIRTERM KY-100: Initial production year, 2001. Currently this equipment is in production and in the fielding phase of its life cycle. Spare parts for this program are currently available and in production. 2) MINTERM KY-99A: Initial production year, 1990.
