Site Visit is re-scheduled for Wednesday, May 27th, 2015 at 10:00 AM.  Please call Joseph A. LeFebvre, Contract Specialist,207 438-2940 to coordinate registration details before Noon 12:00 PM on 26 May 2015.



As a result of the site visit, new questions emerge that required responses. In this attachments are the questions, answers, drawings and pictures requested.

The closing date has been changed to read 19 June 2015, at 12:00 PM ET.

Added: Apr 27, 2015 2:13 pm Modified: May 19, 2015 7:51 amTrack Changes  The purpose of this amendment is to extend the period of performance and closing date as shown below.   

For the purposes of preparing a cost/price Quotation, the Vendor shall assume that the period of performance shall be from 15 June 2015 through TBD.


METHOD OF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION: Offers shall faxed to 207-438-4193. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.


This announcement will close at 12:00 PM ET local time on 03 Jun2 2015. Contact:  Joseph LeFebvre who can be reached by email joseph.lefebvre@navy.mil. 


System for Award Management (SAM): Vendors must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/.



All quotes shall include price(s), a point of contact, name, email address, phone/FAX number, CAGE CODE, AND business size. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements.

The following questions were received.  The responses to those questions are listed below.

1.       Would a site visit/inspection first be feasible? - YES (Wed May 20 at 1000)


2.       Can we send out the drawings of the chevron packing for quote on material? - YES


 3.       3.2.1 mentions reference drawings b-g and diagram h, where can we find these? - They will be provided on Monday 18 may 2015 by amendment.


 4.       Is the size of the disconnect 400 AMP? Do you have a picture of the current disconnect? - YES, NO PICS


 5.       Do you have a layout drawing of the current control console in relation to the other equipment? - YES, They will be provided on Monday 18 may 2015 by amendment.


 6.       Is it expected to run new wire from the equipment to the new control console or reuse existing wire? - EITHER. Needs to meeting current NEC and NEMA standards.


 7.       Are there current electrical prints? - YES, They will be provided on Monday 18 may 2015 by amendment.


 8.       Could we have a picture of the inside of the current control console? - No Picture, print. They will be provided on Monday 18 may 2015 by amendment.


 9.       Do you have prints of the cylinders? - Generic print in figure (5) of SOW


 10.   Are you all needing the bush guides replaced? - If bushings are present and normally replaced then yes.
