1. Are you all wanting a thermocouple place in the platen.

No thermocouples are required per the specification.

2. During the site visit there were talks about pictures of the inside and outside of the control console, will these be given?

A picture of the outside of the control panel is included in the specification as figure (2).

I will attempt to get a picture of the inside of the control panel, however this needs to be coordinated with our repair shop.

3. During the site visit there were talks that the prints provided might not be completely accurate, will this be addressed?

The prints that have been made available are not the original manufacturer prints. These prints were created from hand over hand tracing of wires.

The packing drawings and the user manual are OEM information, and has not been verified.

4. Can we get a cure cycle?

Attachment (4) of the specification has the cure cycle as 30 minutes, but must be able to be set. This is per the specification 3.2.1.8.

5. What is the make and model of the servo controls valve?

Need more information as to which ones you are looking for.

6. What is the open daylight dimension of the press?

Per the specification, attachment (1), 54 inches of daylight

7. Can you provide photographs of the safety devices and wiring locations?

The wiring locations will be in the drawings referenced in the specification as Reference (c).

Photos will be provided.

There shall be only a single control system, and it shall be mounted on or next to the equipment.

11. Please confirm whether or not the contractor will be required to provide forklift service to load & unload equipment.

The contractor shall provide all forklift and crane services necessary for this project.

12. If possible, could you provide photographs of the internal section of the pendant control.

13. Please confirm that the inclusion of (4) four light curtains are required due to vibration causing undue re-calibration of light curtain mirrors. Additionally, these curtains are to be the entire height of the open die space to prevent any persons from entering the die space at any angle.

This is correct and a contract modification will be done to document this new requirement.

14. Please confirm whether contractor is or is NOT responsible for providing new hydraulic oil. If contractor is re-using hydraulic oil, please confirm if a kidney pump filter is sufficient to replace old oil back in tanks.

I am looking into this.

15. Please confirm whether or not it is allowable to work 12hr days to maximize productivity on site.

You will be able to work outside a normal if, as long as the shop receives the request with 2-3 days notice and they have a person available to be near or onsite.
