RECOVERY- Upper Hellgate #7 and Galice #10 Fuel Reduction.



The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement to have manual tree thinning & release, tree pruning, slash and natural fuel handpiling, handpile burning and roadside slash chipping and related work performed. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals.



Multiple contractors MAY be selected but only one contractor per bid item (including its applicable sub-items).



**THIS IS A COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS--QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED**



Project Location and Description

These contract work areas are within the Wild Rivers Ranger District, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest within the Galice, Taylor, and Rogue River-Hellgate watersheds. Some treatment units may be adjacent to private land or other ownership. None of these treatment activities are permitted on such lands. The unit treatment areas are typically stands that have regenerated following either timber harvest or wildfire. In some cases, these stands have been previously thinned. Generally they range in age from 10 to 60 years old. Conifer, hardwood tree and shrub densities are very high and typically in the thousands of stems per acre.



**NOTES**

--Additional work details are outlined in the attached solicitation.

--There will not be a Pre-bid meeting offered by the Government for site inspection.



The Government intends to award a contract(s) resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Contractor(s) whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered.



The following evaluation factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: Past Performance and Price. The non-price evaluation factor is approximately equal in important to price.

This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310. The size standard is $17.5 million. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications and Service Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from www.fbo.gov.
