About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 125 units of sewage pumping equipment under NSN 7H-4630-014125270. The government intends to conduct a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1 authority, as they do not own the technical data packages or rights necessary to competitively source this specialized equipment. This pre-solicitation notice allows interested parties to submit capability statements within 45 days to demonstrate their ability to fulfill the requirement. The response deadline for this opportunity is September 15, 2025, with delivery terms specified as FOB origin.
This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designations and is open to all responsible sources who can demonstrate capability to provide the required sewage treatment equipment. The solicitation specifies a quantity of 125 units of the pumping equipment, though no specific contract value or budget range has been disclosed in the notice. While the government's stated intent is sole source procurement, they are providing this 45-day window for potential suppliers to identify themselves and submit proposals or capability statements. The technical data package is referenced as version 009 with reference number 7250019, indicating this is for a specific, standardized piece of equipment within the military supply system.
