About this opportunity

Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit repair services for a rotary rudder blade (NSN 7R 4320 012077228, Part Number 70652-02300-050) on a sole-source basis, with proposals due by August 27, 2026.

This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) with Reliability and Maintainability Code 3C. The Government requires repair of four units and does not possess sufficient, accurate, or legible technical data to support competition. The item is subject to Free Trade Agreements (FAR 52.225-3) and the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements (FAR 52.225-5).

Offerors must hold or obtain Government Source Approval prior to award. Unapproved sources must submit source approval documentation with their proposal, per the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure, available at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/Business-Opportunities/Home/. Proposals lacking required source approval data will not be considered. The approval process typically extends beyond normal solicitation timelines, precluding award delays pending new-source certification.

Contact Casey Brown at casey.m.brown20.civ@us.navy.mil for information or questions.
