Notice text
The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division, Simplified Acquisition Branch intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Dynamic Systems Analysis Ltd (DSA), Canada, using the procedures in FAR Part 13, to provide ProteusDS Dynamic Analysis Tool analytical modeling software for use in oceanographic observatory mooring stability determinations. The Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) requires six licenses to support ongoing test, development, and operational deployments of oceanographic measuring platforms supporting the National Currents Observation Program and Physical Real-Time Oceanographic System (PORTS). ProteusDS provides mission critical analysis of mooring systems and has been integrated into CO-OPS’ modeling and analytics protocols supporting the deployment of assets in water level and current survey activities. Use of the ProteusDS tools saves CO-OPS significant time and resources in developing, planning, and executing systems development and operational deployments.
