About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit a power supply (NSN 1H-6130-016895662, TDP VER 003) under sole-source authority (FAR 6.302-1) on behalf of DLA Distribution, with a response deadline of August 31, 2026, and this procurement is set aside for Total Small Business.

Three units will be delivered to DLA Distribution, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania 17070-5002. The Government does not own the data or rights necessary to purchase or contract repair from additional sources and has determined it uneconomical to acquire the data or rights or to reverse engineer the part, supporting the sole-source determination.

The Government will consider all proposals, quotations, or capability statements received within 45 days of publication (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). A decision not to compete remains solely within Government discretion. Award requires the offeror, product, service, or manufacturer to meet qualification requirements under FAR clause 52.209-1 at time of award. The solicitation will identify the office providing qualification-requirement details.

The Government is not treating this as a commercial-items acquisition under FAR Part 12, though interested parties may identify commercial-item capability to the contracting officer.
