Notice text

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Washington Contracting Office, contemplates issuing a sole source contract to Crimson Transaction Technologies (formerly Millenium Retail Solutions, Inc.) IAW FAR 6.302-1. The services required are for sustainment of the National Park Service Recreation Fee Management Program Point of Sale System (POSS) at Yosemite National Park, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Fort Pulaski National Monument. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.

Description: The work of this contract consists of providing ongoing system administration and technical support services for the sustainment of the National Park Service Point of Sale System (POSS), consisting of:

• Crimson Transaction Technologies proprietary Scoria software suite (formerly named In The Black (ITB))
• The NPS POSS Web Reports application
• PC-Based POS Terminals used at the POSS parks:
o Pippard Inc., Modular Retail Terminals (MRTs)
o Hewlett-Packard HP RP7800 POS terminal and subsequent models,
o WebDT tablet PC

Additionally, two parks, with critically failing equipment, Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park must be added to the POSS system. Duration of the contract period: April 2015 to April 2017
