The Office of Debt Management (ODM) utilizes Numerix Fixed Income Cross Currency license and Numerix All Asset Class license software to:
1. compute the fair value of Treasury Bills, Notes, Bonds, TIPS, and Savings Bonds to reduce the funding cost for new issuances;
2. create bill curves, nominal coupon and real yield curves for daily market analysis;
3. research and investigate new products such as Floating-Rate Note (FRN) and ultra-long bond.
Numerix is fully integrated into a suite of analytic tools (Bloomberg, TradeWeb, FinCad, Matlab, Excel...) that ODM uses to price Treasury securities, build yield curves, monitor markets, characterize data relationships, and detect patterns to better inform and advise policy makers. Renewing these licenses will allow the other tools ODM uses to properly function and maintain data that has been captured over the past two years.
