About this opportunity

This Special Notice announces the National Cancer Institute's intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the University of Chicago for Pediatric Cancer Data Commons Harmonization services. The National Cancer Institute is an institute within the National Institutes of Health, which itself falls under the Department of Health and Human Services.

The Special Notice aims to procure services from the University of Chicago to harmonize pediatric cancer data to facilitate analysis and research. As this is a sole source noncompetitive action, there are no requirements or deadlines for contractor participation. The University of Chicago is the only eligible source given its expertise in pediatric cancer data and management of the existing Pediatric Cancer Data Commons. The contract supports the NCI's goal of integrating pediatric cancer data to generate insights that accelerate the development of new treatments and improve outcomes for child patients.
