About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of State's Consulate General in Merida, Mexico has issued a Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source a contract for preventive maintenance services for the NCC Fuel Management System. The notice announces the government's intent to award a firm-fixed-price contract directly to FLUID SOLUTIONS LLC, a vendor recognized for its expertise in fuel oil management systems. The sole source justification is based on FAR 6.302-2, which allows for procurement under unusual and compelling urgency circumstances. The contract will cover maintenance services for fuel pumps, storage tanks, and control systems at the Consulate's facility located in Merida. The opportunity is classified under NAICS category 811310 for commercial and industrial machinery equipment repair and maintenance.

Contractors interested in this opportunity must submit capability statements within seven calendar days of the notice's publication, with all responses directed to Dennis Monschein via email. The contract is structured for a base year with four additional one-year option periods, focusing on semi-annual preventive maintenance tasks for four underground storage tanks and multiple day tanks. Eligible contractors must provide all necessary labor, tools, and materials, and adhere to strict facility access and security protocols. The maintenance services will be performed between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. and local holidays. Contractors must carry public liability insurance with coverage of $8,000 per incident and $80,000 cumulative coverage. While the opportunity is currently sole-sourced to FLUID SOLUTIONS LLC, interested parties are still encouraged to submit capability statements for potential future considerations.

Notice text
