Notice text

The College of Distance Education (CDE), Naval War College has a requirement to conduct nonresident evening courses in Joint Maritime Operations, Strategy and War and Theater Security Decision Making to be held in the Washington DC, Great Lakes IL, Annapolis MD, Norfolk VA, Dahlgren VA and Pearl Harbor HI arears. The courses are essentially the same as taught in residence at Newport, with the CDE resident faculty preparing the course syllabus, procuring teaching materials, and funding administrative expenses. Because the site of the courses is removed from the Naval War College (NWC) it is necessary to contract individuals who reside in those areas to serve as an instructor and local administrator for the courses.

This requirement will be solicited as a small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 611710. The Size Standard is $15M. This Request for Quote shall be prepared in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Commercial services.

The Government will award a firm fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose quotation represents the best value to the Govt. The RFQ will outline the evaluation factors. RFQ N00124-17-Q-0270 will be released on or about June 2nd with a closing date around June 14th. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Please submit any questions to jason.hewitt@usnwc.edu.
