About this opportunity

The Department of State is seeking quotations for the replacement of smoke exhaust fans at their facility through a Request for Quotations (RFQ) process. The procurement involves air conditioning and refrigeration equipment components, specifically smoke exhaust fans that require replacement to maintain proper ventilation and safety systems. Offerors must complete several mandatory submission requirements including Standard Form 1449, pricing information in Section 1, representations and certifications in Section 5, additional information specified in Section 3, and proof of System for Award Management (SAM) registration. All quotations must be submitted electronically to pnmprocreq@state.gov in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Adobe PDF format with file sizes not exceeding 30MB per submission. The solicitation requires proposals to be submitted in English only, with incomplete proposals being rejected, and the quotation deadline is set for September 19, 2025, with no extensions anticipated.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the solicitation materials. The solicitation does not specify award values, budget ranges, or quantities of smoke exhaust fans to be replaced. The work will be performed in Panama City, Panama Province, Panama, indicating this is an overseas Department of State facility requirement. The procurement falls under NAICS code 333415 for Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment Manufacturing and PSC code 4130 for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Components, suggesting the fans are specialized HVAC safety equipment rather than standard ventilation systems.
