This presolicitation notice follows Sources Sought Notice FA8251-17-R-MFCD that was posted in FedBizOpps from February 17, 2017 to March 27, 2017.
This is a presolicitation notice in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance found in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for service or supplies. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted under the same reference number as stated above. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps on a regular basis for the solicitation along with any amendments. The United States Air Force anticipates the purchase of a five (5) year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) services contract to repair the Multi-Function Color Display (MFCD) for the A-10C aircraft used by the US Air Force.

A Performance-Based Work Statement that will be provided during the solicitation period. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), non-commercial, Sole Source Contract to International Enterprises, Inc., CAGE Code 50218. The authority for contracting without providing for full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219, which has a corresponding Size standard of $20.5M. The entire solicitation package shall be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Requests for copies of the solicitation package, or any cumulative parts thereof, by any other means shall not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website for the release of the solicitation package, for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and for downloading their own copy of each associative amendment, if any. Contractors must comply with FAR 52.204-7 - System for Award Management in order to submit a proposal subsequent to the solicitation described herein and MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM#1.
