About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring repair and modification services for an ISO T/C Input module (NSN 7H-7050-014944563, Technical Data Package Version 004). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, as the Government does not own the data or rights necessary to purchase or contract repair from additional sources, and reverse engineering has been determined uneconomical. While this is a non-competitive procurement notice, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements. The notice does not specify formal evaluation criteria beyond contractor capability and responsibility. The due date for interested parties to respond to this pre-solicitation notice is April 13, 2026, allowing potential contractors approximately one year from the posted date of April 17, 2025 to assess their ability to perform the work and submit relevant documentation.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation for small businesses or other protected categories. The contract requires delivery of 52 units FOB Origin, with no specific incumbent contractor or award value identified in the pre-solicitation notice. Military and Federal Specifications, Standards, and other standardized documents may be obtained through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at the Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, or through ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/, though technical drawings, deviation lists, and purchase descriptions are not stocked at DODSSP. Interested contractors requiring assistance locating procurement documentation may contact the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667 or 215-697-2179 (DSN: 442-2667).
