The subject requirement is for the acquisition of the NSNs listed on the attachment.  This will be solicited as an Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract containing a 3-year base period and two 1 year option periods.  The total duration, base plus option years, shall not exceed 5 years.    Solicitation will be issued using FAR Part 15 procedures and will require Certified Cost & Pricing Data.  Please return the attached Market Research to the Contract Specialist Elizabeth Hanlon at Elizabeth.hanlon@dla.mi. The estimated Solicitation Issue date is on or about 8/1/2020, with the Response date on or around 9/1/2020.

The approved source for all NSNs included in the solicitation is BAE Systems, CAGEs 076M6, 80812, 06085, 0FW39 and 6W728, see attached for complete NSN and Part Number Listing. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.  All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered.

NSNs are now part of the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program, which is Government, arranged commercial transportation will be used in lieu of supplier provided transportation.  Suppliers will register with DLA's Vendor Shipment Module (VSM).  When ready to ship, supplier will request a pick-up in VSM.  Pick-ups are generally made within 48 business hours of the request by commercial carrier.
