Objectives and Purpose:  The USAMRICD is seeking information for the development of molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) based sensors for the detection of norfentanyl, norcarfenanil, and remifentanil acid in biological samples such as blood, urine, and plasma.  The MIPs will be used for confirmatory testing and will allow fo the contiuned development, optimization, and refinement of the previous MIP sensor.  The draft performance work statement (PWS) is attached for further information.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FROM THIS NOTICE:  Interested firms are encouraged to submit a white paper (statement of capabilities) in response to this notice even if the product does not meet all of the requirements a this time.  White papers should address:

-A description of a firms ability to develop MIP sensors for the detection of norfentanyl, norcarfenanil, and remifentanil.

-A description of past performance performing the same or similar research for either the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, or the open market.  The description shall include a point of contact where the research was performed for, a description of the work performed, and the place of performance.
