Update #2 · Latest ·
The US Government, represented by USAID/Sudan, intends to award a 3-5 month Firm-Fixed Price contract for an evaluation in Sudan.
The purpose of this anticipated contract is for a mid-term performance evaluation of the Towards Enduring Peace (TEPS) award currently being implemented in Sudan.
The principal purpose is to determine whether the program is on track to achieve its goals and plans by:
- Assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementing partner's management of the program to date, specifically in the Transition Activities Pool (TAP) component;
- Ascertaining as to what extent the program is on track to achieve its goals and objectives; and
- Identifying mid-course adjustments (if any) to increase the effectiveness and impact of the TEPS program.
The evaluation will assist USAID in determining:
I. The effectiveness and appropriateness of the overall approach of conflict mitigation and governance programming and choice of mechanism; and
II. The effectiveness of community-leg bottom-up approaches and empowerment of local community in strengthening the foundation for democratic and peaceful Sudanese development.
The solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about May 4, 2016, and will be made available electronically upon its release to www.fbo.gov.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the Contracting Office in USAID/Kenya and East Africa.
