Questions and Answers
For
Boiler Maintenance
Paragraph 10 references providing an emergency phone number which is manned 24-7. We do provide this service for multiple sites, including Waco & Temple. However, we would expect the SOW to go on to define response times and for the contract to include labor rates. Emergency support has the potential to add quite a lot to the contract value so it will be necessary to clarify expectations.
This number would only be to schedule the inspection and tuning that is included in the contract. No emergency response is expected, and if it was needed would be covered under a purchase order or separate contract.
Yes, Department of Labor rates will be utilized.
There is mention of inspections but there is no mention on if this is covering the Annual National Board Boiler Inspections. This is often covered under a separate contract, but can we please have it clarified if the contractor is responsible for the Annual National Board Boiler inspections.
Vendor is not responsible for Annual National Board Boiler Inspection.
