Notice text
The mission of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) is to deliver critical medical assets to the site of a national emergency. To aid in the effectiveness of this mission, the SNS maintains Sensaphone system support contracts to ensure the rapid resolution of critical incidents to help reduce system downtime. The purpose of this upcoming contract is to provide SNS with continued, comprehensive support for the Sensaphone monitoring system. Sensaphone system support is intended to cover all applications, databases, and hardware related to the Sensaphone system, excluding replacement or repair of hardware. Additionally, support includes patches and updates to the Sensaphone application (as needed) to correct functional, security, and performance issues.
As the Sensaphone system is the proprietary system of Phonetics, Inc., and third-party vendors are not authorized to maintain or update this system, the Government will be making a sole source award to Phonetics, Inc. for the continued maintenance of this system. Phonetics, Inc. is a woman-owned small business.
This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes or proposals, and no solicitation is available. Vendors that believe they can provide this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification, as well as a capability statement, to the Contracting Officer below by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephonic inquiries will be accepted.
Any questions or comments should be directed via e-mail ONLY to the attention of Caleb Owen, Contracting Officer at Caleb.Owen@hhs.gov.
