About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior National Park Service Pacific West Region is seeking to replace a failed 20kW air-cooled propane generator at the Cow Creek Ranger Station in Death Valley National Park with a 25-30kW liquid-cooled propane generator. The agency has issued a firm-fixed price solicitation to install the new generator, including the transfer switch, propane line, and concrete slab. Proposals will be evaluated on price, technical approach, product features, and delivery time, with award to be made on a lump-sum basis.
This is a 100% small business set-aside requirement under NAICS code 238210 with a $19M size standard. The period of performance is from August 19, 2024 to September 30, 2024, and offers are due by August 15, 2024. This is currently an unfunded requirement, but the agency expects funds to be available at the time of award. The contractor must be a licensed California electrician and comply with various federal, state, and local regulations, including Davis-Bacon and Service Contract Act wage requirements.
