Contractor to provide Automated Entry Control Systems (AECS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and installation for Buildings 00006, 12530, and 70080 at China Lake and Buildings 159 and 606 at Point Mugu, CA.



The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a competitive basis the following: 1) Contractor to provide Automated Entry Control Systems (AECS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and installation for various facilities at China Lake and Point Mugu, CA in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This equipment to be installed is a manufacturer sole source to Identive Group, Inc. (Hirsch), 1900 Carnegie Ave. Bldg 8, Santa Ana, CA 92705 and Digital Monitoring Products (DMP), 2500 N. Parnership Blvd., Springfield, MO 65803-8877 due to unique capability. Hirsch and DMP are the only approved companies for this material used in the Command. All responsible sources shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation with specifications will be issued on or about 8/20/15 and will be published on www.fbo.gov. Contact Susan Wigfield @ 760-939-4134 if a joint site visit is requested to China Lake, CA and Point Mugu, CA by 8/25/15. All requests shall be made in writing to Commander, NAWCWPNS, Code 220000D, Attn: Susan Wigfield, 429 East Bowen Road, Mail Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108, by fax to 760-939-3095, or by email to susan.wigfield@navy.mil. Electronic delivery of quotations are preferred. If you provide a quote via any other method provide us with the date package was sent, commercial carrier, and tracking number so that we can ensure that your quotation is reviewed for consideration during the award process.



Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO. See the DLIS website for registration details: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/.
