About this opportunity
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, California, intends to procure a yearly service contract for teardown, evaluation, repair, and calibration of PCB Piezotronics components. The procurement is being conducted on a non-competitive basis and is sole sourced to Aerospace and Defense PCB Piezotronics, located in Depew, NY. Potential alternate vendors can submit a capability statement referencing solicitation number N6893625Q5023 to yvonne.c.stockwell.civ@us.navy.mil within 5 days of the notice's publication. All responding firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and demonstrate experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. The response deadline is March 18, 2025, and interested parties are advised to maintain an active SAM registration.
The contract is not designated with any specific set-aside classification and covers a base service year with four optional additional service years. The sole source contractor, Aerospace and Defense PCB Piezotronics, is identified as the only vendor capable of repairing and calibrating their proprietary equipment. The procurement falls under the NAICS category 811210 for Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of 6685 for Pressure, Temperature, and Humidity Measuring and Controlling Instruments. While specific contract value details are not provided, the multi-year service contract suggests a potentially significant recurring procurement. Interested firms must be proactive in maintaining SAM registration and be prepared to submit a notarized letter identifying their authorized Entity Administrator within 30 days of registration.
