About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking contractors to provide housing mechanical components for V-22 Aircraft through an Indefinite Quantity Contract spanning 60 months. This procurement involves a critical safety item and configuration control item classified under NAICS 336413 for aircraft parts manufacturing, with part number V44764-329 and NSN 1650-016091052. The contract includes specific requirements such as Government FAT and Production Lot Testing with a sample size of 2 units, NIST SP 800-171 DOD assessment requirements, and FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance at origin. The solicitation will be issued on June 27, 2025, and interested parties must submit written proposals by July 28, 2025, with evaluation based on a combination of price, past performance, and other factors detailed in the solicitation. The contracting officer, Cindy Hunt, can be reached at (804) 971-7217 or cindy.hunt@dla.mil for questions.

The estimated maximum order quantity for the five-year base period is 20 units, with a delivery schedule of 234 days after receipt of order. While no specific contract value is provided, the procurement falls under requirements for solicitations over $25,000 and includes provisions for commercial item consideration if vendors can demonstrate capability within 15 days of the notice. The solicitation documents will be available exclusively through the DLA Internet Bid Board System at the specified DIBBS website, with no paper copies provided to requestors.
