About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole source, cost plus fixed fee order to The Boeing Company for the design, development, testing, and integration of the EA-18G Growler Block 2 Phase 2 Beowulf Subsystem. This acquisition will support Department of the Navy requirements and include non-recurring efforts to integrate the subsystem onto developmental and operational test aircraft, as well as the procurement of ten Low Rate Initial Production shipsets and spares. As the incumbent contractor for the EA-18G aircraft with relevant manufacturing experience and technical data, Boeing is the only company qualified to fulfill this requirement within the necessary timeframe. No other questions or proposals will be considered, with a notice period ending November 17, 2023.

This pre-solicitation notice includes no set aside designations. The Boeing Company is identified as both the potential and current incumbent contractor. The acquisition aims to procure subsystem integration, ten shipset lots, and spares for the EA-18G over an unspecified contract period. Key deliverables include design, development, testing assets, and integration work alongside ten LRIP shipsets and associated spares for the Beowulf subsystem of the Navy's electronic attack aircraft.
