The Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division seeks quotes to provide Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat operator training courses and Littoral Combat Ship Differences training courses from 2022 through 2026. The solicitation requires three-week basic operations courses training up to 12 students and five-day proficiency courses training up to six students at Naval Station Mayport and Naval Air Station North Island. Question: Is the GOVT willing to provide gallons per course on average or if not, what about the time spent in and around the LCS and Open Ocean fuel burn taken from the Post Training and Operations Report on the average?
Answer: On average each course has used approximately 350 gallons, 40 hours of on water training, and 180 miles of distance travelled.
