Update #1 ·

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate and award a stand-alone cost-type follow-on sustainment contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation - Aerospace Systems (NGC-AS), San Diego, CA, for system and software engineering, training, and logistics requirements to support the MQ-8 Fire Scout Unmanned Aircraft System

The proposed contract action is sustainment support that focuses on three categories: 1) System and Software Engineering; 2) Training; and 3) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for the MQ-8 Fire Scout System which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements."
