About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure aircraft parts and auxiliary equipment through additions to an existing long-term contract (SPE4AX-25-D-P003) under a sole source arrangement with Lockheed Martin Corporation. The procurement covers approximately 20 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for various aerospace and electronic components including fairings, cable assemblies, control assemblies, mounting plates, and adapters, as detailed in the attached Excel file containing 30 line items. The government intends to award this contract on a sole source basis under FAR 6.302-1, supported by a Justification and Approval (J&A), and will only consider vendors who have access to the required technical data or can provide traceability to approved sources. The solicitation is scheduled for release on September 3, 2025, with interested parties required to respond by the synopsis closing date of September 2, 2025. Surplus dealers and non-original equipment manufacturers are invited to respond but must provide completed surplus certificates or adequate traceability documentation demonstrating product acceptability.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is structured as a sole source award to Lockheed Martin Corporation as the original equipment manufacturer. While specific contract values are not disclosed in the solicitation notice, the procurement involves adding 20 NSNs to an existing subsumable long-term contract, with delivery terms specifying freight-on-board at origin with inspection and acceptance at origin. The place of performance is identified as Richmond, Virginia, and the contract falls under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. Non-OEM respondents must demonstrate their ability to supply items for the entire contract period and provide information on available quantities and pricing, with responses requiring forwarding to both the contracting officer and the SBA Procurement Center Representative Steven Powell.
