About this opportunity

The Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Institution Bastrop is seeking proposals to construct a new outdoor firing range through solicitation EP2933-20. Technical evaluation criteria will assess offerors' experience constructing similar ranges, proposed technical design and safety features, and project management approach. Price will also be considered but technical merit is significantly more important. Proposals are due by November 30, 2020 with award anticipated by the end of the year.

This opportunity is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Construction is anticipated to be completed within 365 days at the facility location in Bastrop, Texas. Proposed designs must meet all applicable safety standards for an outdoor firing range. Evaluation of proposals will consider technical design, past performance references demonstrating range construction expertise, and a firm fixed price quote within the anticipated $500,000 to $1 million budget range.
