Added: Jul 08, 2011 9:42 am The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Vocational Training Certificate Program Services to inmates interested in Telecommunications/ Fiber optic installation. The program is to be provided at the Federal Correctional Complex-Allenwood, located on Route 15, Two Miles North of Allenwood, Pennsylvania. The contractor shall provide in-house vocational educational certificate program services in a six-month course of study resulting in a Certificate of Specialization in Telecommunications Installation and Service for each student who successfully completes the program. Contractor will be responsible to develop and maintain a written curriculum. The contractor will instruct groups of approximately 12 students. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611519 with a small business size standard of $7 million. The estimated maximum quantities are 1,560 (1) one hour sessions for the base period and each option period excluding Federal Holidays. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 8, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 2, 2011. Anticipated date of award is in September 2011. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
